Combat Boots Part Deux

boots2
After some careful scientific analysistic picture comparisons to the Ann Ds: eyelet cap toe ...
And at lesser price alternative than custom Tims, I ended up ordering the first pair below.

I was hesitant about whether I could pull them off, but after spending the day tramping around in the tall grass, we became perfectly acclimated to each other. They've already given purpose to a pair of "weathered black" jeans I previously considering getting rid of.

I plan on wearing them strictly with "tough" looks or pairing down the formality of suits.
There will be no combat boots with the frilly nor the flannel going on here.

  3. Love the boots, good choice they look v.different from the picture. How comfy are they, i have a gorgeous pair of Frye boots but as much as i love them they are awfully heavy.

  6. I like that you've avoided looking like a trussed up lumberjack by steering clear of the pretty vs tough route. could've have a hot mess

  10. so good
great call on vintage-new ones are far too overpriced and vintage look far more authentic for the overall style
