Ralph Lauren

Spring Summer 2009

I understand that Ralph Lauren doesn't do the hippest or coolest of clothes, but when was it ever a bad thing to be Elegant?

  5. Ralph has always been the Master for me, even this season, his show has inspired me a lot. The washed silk military pants , the tone of sage green with the sand colors and whites , soft volumes, very feminine and timeless. I think that the colors of his fashion show along with tangerine and orange tones of the Vanessa Bruno and Chloè shows of last S/S09 will be the winning tone of the next S/S10 season

  7. His designs are timeless and I find his pieces work for women of many ages. (though perhaps not all) I really like the all white outfit with the double breasted jacket as well as the all black ensemble on the bottom far right - beautiful!

  8. Ralph Lauren doesn't stand out to me, but it has been consistent in showcasing really chic and elegant pieces. This S/S 09 collection is beautiful as usual, I love the gowns and flowy textures!

  14. Ah you did Ralph too! I was a few days off. But I must say that the collection is more impressive in person than I originally found it on the runway.
