Best Blazers in the Biz

Best Blazers in the Biz
I love the blazers Hedi Slimane showed for Dior Homme's Spring 2005 collection. This is one of the two DH collections I continually refer back to because the overall styling is immensely inspirational to me. In fact it was an ad from this collection that was my introduction to the Dior Homme/Hedi Slimane world. At the time I was a big follower of Dolce & Gabbana's menswear, and as you can imagine Hedi Slimane just blew them right out the window.

In celebration of my good news/moment of insanity, I ordered both jackets. I don't know when they'll arrive since they are both coming from Korea!! I'm so glad that I found a white blazer that matches this Gold Standard. I hope I'm able to work out the white one since it's actually a men's jacket.

Have a happy weekend!

  3. I really like this collection, I love shrunken garments and it kinda has a disheveled look to it too with half untucked shirts. Can't wait to see the blazers on you!

  5. I totally agree with you, the SS05 collection was pretty much what got me excited about blazers for casual wear! Haha and I'm still on the hunt for my perfect red jeans. Yay for both the blazers!!
