The Liberace Museum: Think Pink!

Hot Pink Turkey Feather Costume
Worn by Liberace for his 1985 Radio City Music Hall show.
The cape is made entirely with pink turkey feathers adorned with butterflies.
He made his entrance in this costume from a 12 foot Faberge Easter egg. Costume was especially made for his Easter show that year.

King Neptune Costume
The heaviest of all the non-fur costumes, weighing OVER 200 POUNDS!!! Created for Liberace's appearance at the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans. The same year, Liberace also wore this costume for his performances at Radio City Music Hall. Also worn in 1985 in Atlantic City and during his 1986 shows at Caesar's Palace.

The Pink Suit of Glass
Often called "The Suit of Glass." Worn in the late 1970s.
The cape has various shades of pink ribbon cascading downward and is accented with rhinestones. Silk chiffon lining with hundreds of rows of bright pink sequins. Jacket and boots are encrusted with glass beads surrounded by multi-colored appliqued satin floral motifs. The boots have a gabardine base with set rhinestones in the heels.

    Maybe it's because of my own personal experience with the great Man, but I am so loving this series.
