I like editorials that are classic but still show us how to incorporate the seasonal elements into our wardrobe.
And as a public service announcement: men please wear knit ties more often. Thank you.

  1. I have a vintage YSL knit tie that I tried to get my guy to wear but no go. He says it looks like a belt lol. I love it though.

  2. Oh that look with the chambray shirt (looks like chambray I think) with a suit jacket and knit tie is so good. Still sharp but summery and outdoorsy at the same time.

Knit ties are great, I have a friend who swears by them and I've always wondered why we don't see the more.

  3. I have a navy blue knitted tie that I wear all year round. I know it is more of an Autumnal accessory, but heck it looks good in Summer.

  6. Ah, couldn't agree more. I find menswear more inspiring than women clothing.. wouldn't mind wearing all the looks in this editorial! Thanks for sharing :)

  7. Have you ever worn men's ties? I had a phase of doing that and loved one particular knit tie that I borrowed from my boyfriend (now husband).

  8. IGetaFever: I would never wear a "proper" men's tie. As I wear enough menswear, I have to draw the line at certain things: no brogues, no suspenders, no check patterns, no ties.

  9. I don't know why, but I couldn't comment on the previous post. Anyway, I like #3 the best! I actually went to the gap for those same trousers and I was soo mad because they're still long on me! Damn! My mom said she could fix the hem, but I was too sad! I hate it that even cropped or ankle pants are long on me! Lucky you with your long legs!!!
