  4. Ah the YSL tuxedo! How I'd love to see one of these hanging up in my wardrobe.

I've got this book too! How do you find it? I was trautamized by her suggestion to throw out everything that was more than 2 years old.

  6. the tuxedo suit will never be out of style.
i found "mr odyssey" a ysl navy blazer at goodwill, of all places. i think it's from the 70s (must do some sleuthing to confirm) but the cut works so well, and the fabric is beautiful, it may as well be this season's. timeless!

  8. Fleurette: No ID on the clutch.

Lin: I enjoyed Nina Garcia's The One Hundred.

Veshoevius: I think she means in the sense that it's a piece that doesn't get wear.

  10. it's awful, or maybe not, but probably about once a week i just think about the day when i can have an amazing tailor and i can go in with vintage patterns or vintage photos or all varieties of classic suit and dress ideas and boom! just for me. one way of saying, i am a huge fan of the YSL tuxedo suit.

and still have to take that velvet trench photo for you!
