Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche FW 2003

YSL by Tom Ford FW 2003
Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche by Tom Ford FW 2003
This isn't the first time I've done a post on this collection. I feel the middle look in the second row: the shape of the coat, the leather leggings, is very "now." You can see Demi Moore wearing the first look here. I don't ever forget that velvet jacket, and I don't ever forget how amazing Demi looked in it. I was glad to see Bazaar feature it in their book. I believe I still have the original Bazaar issue that ran her picture. You can view the rest of the collection here.

  3. Oh I remember this collection! Back then I just loved that first look, and actually I still do; the velvet blazer, that colour green, the lace bra, all of it looks wonderful.

I can't wait to see what Tom showed in NYC as I miss having his sexiness & sultriness in shows:)

  6. I love this, thank you for featuring a collection that isn't from a nano second ago, makes such a difference. Loving the red dress, is that Karen Elson? Can't quite make out from under the fringe!x

  12. I'm late to this post (too much travel and work lately) but I wanted to let you know how GLAD I am you featured these looks. Iconic, timeless, sexy, still so compelling. Remember Demi Moore wearing the green dress/black bra combo and thinking holy shi*t what an amazing look.

  13. I have to say that this is also one of my fav. collections too. I love Tom Ford YSL lines. It's a shame that the late YSL despise everything he did with the YSL name. I think it was absolutely amazing. I miss Tom Ford doing womenswear, and seriously cannot wait to see what he did this past September in January.

    VIVA TOM FORD.
