  1. wow, this is amazing! What I love is the way it looks as if it's a still photo of fabric in motion ... under water even. Stunning.

  6. So glad you were able to capture the pleats, it's so hard to photograph black.

Good job on the wrapping. I encounter this problem with some of my Watanabe pieces - they should come with instruction guides!

  7. georgeous pleats, they look structured but not too stiff. i had something similar in white which always ended up looking like a victorian collar.

  8. Wow, very regal, you could be a dignitary getting ready for a Senate meeting in Star Wars :) But perfectly chic for earth as well. The skirt + scarf sounded like it would be too much together but it looks perfect, I love the effect.

  15. ahh this outfit is amazing!!! i love that the scarf is just hanging and blending in with the skirt. did the scarf come with a little guide about a million ways to wear it as a dress? i've seen those in the IM store, but never actually tried it.

  29. i like the cocoon shape on the right. It looks modern on you. When ever I try to wear pleated fabric like this I look like one of these middle aged ladies who buy their accessories at the local museum of modern art and wear "interesting" eye glass frames.

  30. The silhouette and mix of materials is regal. So inventive and personal you truly master your own style!

  31. amazing!and thank u so much for madonna's photos!its so inspiring!!!!

  33. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MORE PLEATS is what it should be called. You wear it so well.

It's funny how in the US people either have no clue what it is or it's really rogue fashion people who adore it. And then in Korea it's all old ladies. The SAs thought I was lost when I was wandering through the store.
