  1. That's insane. This is what I miss by not having a subscription in Vogue. This should be remedied, such in case there's a do-over.

  2. These images are splendid!!!

It's somewhere between the traditional notion of glamour meets atypical glamour! Interesting and very potent mix, really!

  3. ML is the original definition of Fierce. i love how she doesn't give an eff about her age and what mainstream aesthetics may have to say about how she should look. i'd love to have her and RO over in the dinner party of my dreams :)

  4. I read in one of RO's interviews that his inspiration for one of his collections (I think it was S/S '10 or '11, with all those long billowing gowns) came from Michelle's request, because she likes to go swimming in the ocean in RO gowns and watch the fabric float around her in the waves.

I was like, damn, I wish I could afford to go for casual swims in the ocean in Rick Owens gowns! Lol. Oh to be a muse.

  5. Stunning pictures and the word Miss Sophie used, "FIERCE" just exudes from these shots.

  6. I love the concept of high fashion and animalistic savagery combined! The jewelry is gorgeous!

  7. she's incredible! i'm always interested in finding out more about her. michele lamy is a bit of a mystery and quite the individual, which only enhances her "savage beauty" as you say. :)

  8. i love those first 2 photos especially for not being too pretty. i hate when a model is supposed to look 'crazy' but is still completely made up and retouched. i'm also a fan of the headpiece that looks like a leather nun's habit.

  9. not sure if you've seen this, but i thought it was one of the more entertaining reads in that edition: http://www.interviewmagazine.com/fashion/kris-van-assche/

  10. I Must admit that I do not know much about michele lamy...but I find her quite interesting...she's very much the vogue paris woman...a little bit mysterious, but completely unconventional chic. savage beauty is a brilliant title for this post!

  13. Those black fingertips really punch up the photos from beauty/glamor to goth with a real visceral factor (a little like 'what IS she putting in her mouth?!'). Beautiful series!

  14. I find Michele Lamy so damn intriguing. Just think what it would be like to have dinner at Rick Owens' place.
