  2. dark, brooding, dramatic...how i love this!!

knits and loose clothing- that's my thing during these hot summer days.

when i saw your other recent post, i figured the hoodie was RO Drkshdw! Divinitus has the same one, i think.

  6. I love the way you play with fabric draping to create dramatic, interesting styles. I can tell that you've always been interested in fashion!

Thank you for your thoughtful comment on my Vreeland post. I agree it's a lot of work but it's a satisfying kind of work, don't you think?

  8. How do you find the quality of the Rick Owens hoodie? Is it as good as it looks?

  9. Thanks everyone.

Susan: Agreed. It takes time and effort to reach the stage where one can be effortless. ;)

Stacy: Yes. I'm very happy with it. I feel like I have an understanding of why RO cuts tops the way they are.

  10. So dramatic. I'm always drawn to how every culture has different version of draping. It's something I always pay attention to when I travel.

  11. you are like a walking RO runway model. totally killing it with your artfully effortless take on draping and dramatic silhouettes. i love how you're wearing head-to-toe black, yet this outfit is still full of texture.

  12. Awesome! You styled it perfectly. Alas, even if I didn't wear anything underneath my RO hoodie it would still be too hot to wear right now...

  14. Dark, brooding, dramatic indeed! (as Stephanie said). You always make me beam when I come here, Pret. I love your sense of humour. Not to mention, style. I didn't know what Drkshdw meant in the title - of course! Dark Shadow!

You're too young to know, but there was a huge hit cult soap in the States in like the 70s, called Dark Shadows. If you can find anything on it - I wonder if this is a reference. I love hoodies: obsessed with getting a pair of Juicy Couture-esque sweats and hoodie while we're here. I LIVE in my navy Gap hoodie, which is nearly 15 years old.

Hope all's good with you. xox
