Chanel RTW SS 2002 Jacket

Some of you asked for more about my jacket. It was a snap decision; when I saw it, I knew. Believe it or not, back
in the day I had a J.Lo jacket very similar in design to this. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

    1. Thanks. The length really attracted me to it as well.

  5. This is a great jacket and you wear it very well. I think that the secret that makes this jacket very special is in the different proportions between the lower part and the upper part.

  8. Ah, I'm drawn the the colour every bit as the shape/cut. Love your styling as always, and these images definitely hint at its versatility. So much you could do with this lovely piece. And it looks especially exquisite paired with the collared shirt.

    1. Thanks. I'm glad I removed the shoulder pads, before it didn't work with collared shirts.

  9. Wow, what a beautiful and instinctive purchase. You blow my mind and look incredible in that jacket, in both outfits! I love that kind of elating gut feeling one gets when you see something and know it was made for you.

  10. Absolutely stunning - have you thought about doing something with brooches similar to the runway look?

    1. I don't care for the way it's done on the runway. It distracts from the jacket which already has a lot of details. But I won't rule it out if I see something I like.

  14. The jacket is beautiful, but those jeans are perfect. The wash, the slouch, it adds such a nice effortless quality to an outfit.

  17. OMG I love these jeans. Where would you recommend getting similar jeans from Dior Hommes? Ebay?

    1. I bought mine 5 years ago but in my limited experience the fits have changed since then. If you have a DH in your area I'd recommend trying them on in person, but Luisaviaroma stocks DH jeans as well.
