  3. You look amazing in that Chanel jacket, what a dream buy. And I love the drama of that black pleated skirt. I can't believe it's June! Time for me to look at my own recap I think. Perhaps after the sale season, since I'm looking to stock up on some basics and I've decided to get new olive khakis that fit better.

  4. This is a great collection of useful basics at what I imagine are great prices. The Missoni coat in particular will make an aesthetic splash (I love coats with impact), and those tanks! Great Rick-Owen-ish choice. I love your Furla bag (that picture, yes, raises the heartbeat)--and how well it works with the Chanel. I had no idea this was your fav Baccarat ring--it's a beauty! Can you feel the "wrapping" effect? And in those colors . . . Picture please of some of these piece working together! I'll pin for inspiration.

    1. In the pictures are actual Rick Owens tanks, but mine have a similar curved hem. This is a different ring from my favorite; it was bought before the :(. I'll email you separately with pictures.

  5. I've always liked the way you shop, or rather, *don't* shop. This is how it should be done, with restraint and purpose - the smart way to build a wardrobe.

  6. Lovely pieces. This is how one should shop. Acquiring pieces with a sense of purpose and restraint. Your Chanel jacket is amazing. I have such a think for Chanel jackets and the last forever.

  7. Lovely pieces. The Chanel jacket has to be my favorite. You were also really lucky to get a couple of pieces from the Missoni for Target collection.

  8. Do you have a pic wearing #2 yet? I've asked my cat Flo to go shopping for me but she's refused.

    1. I wore it yesterday actually, with black pants, heels, and scarf dressed up for work, but here's an older picture with jeans. I wear it like a tunic.

  10. Your cream Chanel! It goes with everything and never goes out of style. I'm really impressed at how all these different pieces work well together. It shows a lot of thought went into each piece whether it's high end or High St brands.
