  1. The self-designed dress with the studded belt caught my eye. It's simple, comfortable and would look so appropriate for evening outings.
I envy how tall and slim you look!

    Have a great weekend!

  2. I love these recaps that you do! You're always so stylish (and I suspect tall, which I'm very jealous about). How cool that you designed your own dress - it's lovely! How do you find the quality of All Saints?

    1. thanks. :) Not tall, people are surprised (disappointed) when they see me. I wear my All Saints sweater A LOT, and it's holding up very well.

  4. I love your monthly recaps - so many great looks here! I love the self designed dress with the studded belt - very curious about how you did that - did you sew it your self or was there a tailor involved?

  5. You have some great looks here! Love the way the Dior Homme jeans look on you (Homme? Really?), and the way you pull off the white blazer (looks so waiter-y on some folks and it looks great on you), but I also love the Brooks Bros look and the tougher All Saints look. So glad you stopped by and commented, it's always nice to connect with new bloggers!

  6. You've definitely inspired me to simplify my wardrobe, both in terms of versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched (and here, it doesn't hurt to raid my boyfriend's closet for dress shirts), as well as my color palette.

I love this white Gap sweater - it actually looks like a blazer in the picture.

  7. Perfect as always. :)
Re: All Saints sweater; Used Fr waxed jeans; Boutique 9 boots - my personal favorite.
You find the coolest stuff at F21.
Glad to see the sublime, chameleon-esque self-made dress making another appearance. That belt takes it to another level.

  8. Lovely looks. I don't really like jeans on most, but you make them look so chic. Love the self designed dress- i enjoy bespoke and designing my own things.

  9. I especially love that white Gap cardigan, it looks to clean and sleek, the way it hangs. Nothing in Gap ever looks like that to me!

  10. You're so long and lean (envious self talking here) that I bet you look good in anything. I'm particularly enamored by the dress you've made yourself. Very classy and timeless.

  11. Second outfit in the first set is gorgeous, and the third outfit in the second set is something I could imagine myself wearing. I know what you mean about doing the thinking before buying, so that afterwards you can just pull things together and know they work, it is a comforting thought. I'm still at the start, but I'm already looking forward to being at the point where I can buy more fun pieces. But for now I'm trying to enjoy the journey where I'm at rather than living in the future.

  13. Love these posts! The Dior jeans look great. I need new jeans pronto. One can see the Balmain influence in the Zara blazer. You must have patience for shopping. I can't stand trying on clothes.

    1. The weather here has been disgustingly hot too. It would be a miracle if it went into the low 80s for a change!
