My friend really likes Swarovski jewellery and had quite a lovely necklace (nothing as elaborate as on the pic in this post). Quite delicate and after a year of wearing (constantly), she took it back to them as the tiny crystals kept coming off and though I don't think they managed to replace it, they did try to compensate her. I think it would depend partly on the wear you were subjecting it to. My friend is pretty tough on her jewellery - it lives on her till it gives up the ghost.
Thank you for your response. You're the 2nd person to tell me about the deterioration over time. But sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants... but it's good to know they do try to fix them.
I got a necklace, for my birthday, about ten years ago and it is as perfect as when I got it
I like set crystals, classic and elegant. I have various pieces with Swarovski crystals though nothing made by them. If you buy from an authorised retail store, the jewellery should come with a quality guarantee.
Hi, I'm a long time reader, first time commenter. The Swarovski stores in Turkey are very good about this. They do change the product if they have it on hand or ask their headquarters if they do not think it's user fault. If they do not have it in stock, they try to get it fixed. Once I had a pair of earrings that was out of warranty period and the crystals fell of, like 3 years or more, they allowed be to buy a new pair at 70% discount. The piece in the picture looks gorgeous...
Thank you for stopping by!
