oh no! i had a laser treatment that was very intense - vaseline and cool compresses (with a mild vinegar dilution) is what the doctor recommended, and it did help. good luck! the price of beauty, right? :)
Ouch! I hope it's better now.
It is mostly healed but there is going to be some long term damage. I think anytime a provider (even if @ a dr's office) does not explain a procedure to you and tells you to "google it" seconds before it happens...it's time to run! But I always have to learn my lessons the hard way. As Carrie says "Gum is an impossible purchase!" not a chemical peel.
Oh no, I am sorry you went through this! I second the cool compresses - even now. I sunburn like nobody's business, and I am always amazed at what apple cider vinegar compresses do to alleviate tenderness, pain, and inflammation. ACV is such a wonder-product. I use the compresses to get rid of skin tags (welcome to my 40s). 15 minutes at a time might help with any damage, if you don't mind smelling like a salad for about an hour after. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery!
