  2. Dont you have the perfect skin ? That lipstick looks really good on you.

Last weekend, I met a lady at a wedding who was wearing incredible jewellry. I asked her about it and she said 'its Baccarat'. My reply 'what does that mean? Is it a making technique?'. Her reply 'how can you write a fashion blog of all people'. Ouch ! So I now know the brand and wont forget it.

    1. Thank you, but sadly I remember when I had perfect skin so I can see how I ruined it.

ouch that's some shade! Baccarat is both the town and the brand, dating back to the 1700s. What did the piece look like? I am curious because their collections over the last several years are really lacking A LOT but atleast they are re-releasing some of the older ones (albeit w/ stupid names). I've only come across 2 other bloggers that are Baccarat jewelry collectors (long since gone Modelizing and Aesthetic Alterations). Baccarat is really for passion, since its not on the mainstream radar, and also the nature of the material is fragile--I've since noticed they've shifted to setting their rings in silver, etc... instead of all lead crystal. I've shattered my absolute favorite ring that sparked my love for the brand, and its replacement, while beautiful does not compare to the ingenuity of the original. I had the surviving head reset into another ring--not the same but I can't bear to let it go. Sorry for the long reply, but Rick Owens and Baccarat I can go oooooon.

    2. She had a bracelet on which looked like flat flowers welded together. And the next day, she was wearing a choker necklace that looked like filigree work complete with a matching bracelet. She wore them well and says she collects them. She runs her own jewellry business in India and has a massive collection apparently. She asked me to come visit her next time I am in India to get an 'education'. I absolutely will.

Now, I am even more intrigued.

  3. For someone who loves to wear Black most of the time, you look BEAUTIFUL when you do color! I am sure your friends do an extra once-over when you wear color and prints :)
